We don´t have a physical shop or showroom that our customers can visit, so we apologize for not allowing in person visits.
What We Do
Derek’s Classic Mini Center is the beauty clinic for the Classic Mini, a specialized restoration garage with nearly two decennia of commercial activity that reunites nearly a century of experience in classic cars from the previous century.
Our shop gives your Classic Mini an overhaul, and it will look and simply be better than the day it left the showroom.
Body work repairs & Paint
We restore your mini's body work removing all the corroded and/or damaged body parts, replace them with fresh steel, weld new body parts into the body of your Mini. We make your Mini's body strong straight and tidy again. Our modern paint shop delivers quality paint work, your Mini will shine brilliantly in its new livery.
Brakes systems
We overhaul your Mini's braking and suspension systems. We update your standard master brake cylinder or servo and piping, we supply you with new but original drum or disc brakes, or we can upgrade your mini's braking system with a restomod from master brake cylinder to the Mini servo, or from drum brakes all around to front disc and rear drum brakes.
Suspension system
We can update your tired old suspension using the high quality modern version of the Dunlop cones, HilLo adjustable suspension, and standard shocks. We can upgrade your suspension with springs, adjustable shocks or coil-overs, but even with a modernized suspension system your Mini will drive like an oversized iron, sticking to the road.
Engine revision & rebuild
Our mechanical team will at least revise a running engine and correct any issues they detect due to wear and tear, or we strip down an engine and rebuild it with new moving parts. The engine is ready for several thousand kilometers again. Given the technical advances it will run most probably better than when your car left the showroom decennia ago.
Interior and upholstery
We can freshen up the interior finish of your Mini, or upgrade or supply new upholstery. we can also provide mod-services for the installation of modern high quality digital sound and navigation systems.
Wheels & Tires
We can shoe your car with any suitable rims and tires, from the classic 10" steel rims with the classic radial tires, to 10", 12"and even 13" modern alloy rims and modern tires, and adapt your geometry according to your chosen wheels and tires

Our coach builders and steel fabricators are experts fighting corrosion with hard steel and old techniques, and our painters are wizards with the paint gun.

Our mechanics are still mechanics and not computer experts who have to hook up a laptop and expect the car to provide diagnostic data tot determine what's wrong, our staff has their senses, noses, ears, eyes and the touch of their fingers to know what needs to be done.
Period correct upholstery
Our upholsterers can update your interior with a time period finish, while upgrading it to more modern standards of comfort.
